Vikings Drop Home Opener
It was a close game but the Pleasant Hill Billies scored a single run to keep the Siuslaw Viking’s boys baseball team from a Home opener. Pleasant Hill pitching shut down the Vikings tossing 14 strikeouts. Junior Siuslaw pitcher Jacob Mann held the billies to 4 hits with 4 strike outs. They face Sweet Home on the road Thursday. The Vikings will have 3 less games on their schedule this season as Coquille cancelled its season.
Lade Top Viking in Siuslaw Invitational
Senior Macali Lade was the top performer in yesterday’s girls golf Invitational at the Florence Golf Links. Lade shared 14th place with a score of 115 with fellow Vikings Kyriana Masterman and Maely Chiang following with scores of 125 and 126 respectively
Boys Host Tournament Today
Viking boy’s golf will host the Siuslaw invitational today at Florence Golf Links. Competition begins in the morning with 16 teams participating.
Track and Field Begins Tomorrow
Track and Field will host the Siuslaw Icebreaker tomorrow at the High School.
