Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Senior Siuslaw Basketball player Micah Blankenship as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Micah led the Viking to a win over South Umpqua last week scoring 19 points for the Vikings in their 56-44 win. Keeping the Vikings in the Playoff hunt as the season comes to a close.

Honorable Mention goes to junior Aidell Cadet who had 24 points and 7 steals in the Viking girls win over South Umpqua.
Viking Basketball
Tonight the Viking boys will need a win to keep in the hunt for the playoffs. The Vikings are scheduled to play Glide this evening, but inclement weather may play a part in this evening’s game. the Viking girls are scheduled to play first at 5:30 followed by the boys. pregame on KCST is scheduled for 5:15.
Duck Basketball
The Oregon Ducks will be on the court this evening against Minnesota. Minnesota leads the series 7-3. the Ducks are off a 83-72 win over Penn State on Saturday. the game will air this evening on KCFM due to the Viking game on KCST. Pregame will be at 7pm
Beaver Baseball
The Oregon State Beavers got sweet revenge against Michigan yesterday, breaking a tie in extra innings with a walk off home run by Bryce Howard in the bottom of the 10th.
