Three Rivers Casino RV Park

You may have noticed that Three Rivers Casino Resort has broken ground on a brand-new RV Park expansion. Andy Tidwell with the RV park says the upgraded facility will feature 44 full hook-up sites, each with water and power connections. Plans also include a dedicated registration office with a small convenience store, along with new showers, restrooms, and on-site laundry facilities for guests. One unique feature will be a covered propane fire pit designed for year-round use, offering access 365 days a year regardless of weather conditions. Tidwell says updates will be shared as construction progresses.

Food Backpack For Kids

The Food Backpack For Kids program has received a $5,000 grant from the Coquille Tribal Community Fund to help provide weekend meals for students in Florence and Mapleton. Shortly after, organizers also secured a $5,200 grant from the Joseph E. Weston Foundation, along with a $3,000 contribution from the local Elks Lodge and $2,000 from the Ladies of the Elks. The program serves K-12 students with weekend food bags containing six meals, milk, fruit, snacks, and utensils. Since 2024 through 2025, more than 62,880 meals have been distributed to children facing food insecurity.
