Sailor Girls Win – Head to Imbler
Mapleton will be traveling to Imbler for round 2 of the 1A State Playoffs. the Sailor girls defeated St Paul last night 53-44 for the chance to meet the Panthers of Imbler. The Sailors have won 16 straight games on their way to the visit the number one team in their division led by junior Lucie Burruss. the game is set for Saturday with a time to be determined.
Ducks Win
It was the Oregon Duck defense that helped the men to a victory over Wisconsin. The Ducks held the Badgers to 33.3 percent shooting. Nate Bittle had 20 points on the night with 4 Ducks in double figures. Wei Lin came off the bench to at 13.
Beavers Win
The Oregon State Beaver men’s basketball team defeated San Diego last night 92-82. five beavers were in double figures with Johan Munch leading with 19. Isaiah Sy had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Duck Women Win
The Oregon Duck Women topped Purdue 71-65 improving to 20-10 on the season but shy of even in the conference at 8-9.
Beaver women play San Diego this evening in San Diego at 6pm
State Wrestling Championships begin today with 6 Vikings heading to Portland. Wrestling begins at noon.
