Baseball and softball begin Tuesday for Siuslaw. The teams will face Harrisburg in non-league action at Jiggs Dodson Field. Baseball is coached by Derek Wells and softball is coached by Amanda Richards.
Siuslaw Golf
Siuslaw Golf will also get started next week with the Siuslaw Invitational on the 19th, featuring Harrisburg, Marist Catholic, and Thurston, coached by Nick Reamer.
Oregon Baseball
Oregon baseball picked up a 6-3 win over Xavier Wednesday at PK Park. Berkeley Mabius broke a scoreless tie in the 7th inning with a pinch-hit home run that sparked A5-run rally for the Ducks. Oregon’s bullpen held on late as the Musketeers brought the tying run to the plate in the 9th. The Ducks improved to 14-3 and open Big Ten home play tomorrow against Indiana.
Beaver Baseball
The Oregon State Beavers will be in San Diego this weekend with three games scheduled. Game one will be tomorrow, beginning at 5.30 on KCFM.
