Siuslaw Baseball
Siuslaw baseball picked up a doubleheader sweep over Bandon on Wednesday, winning 10-6 and 12-4 in nonleague play. The Vikings used big sixth-inning rallies in both games, scoring 7 runs in the opener and 8 in the second game. Zak Nilles earned the win in relief in game one, while Jacob Mann tossed 3 scoreless innings in game two. Michael Fitzsimmons led the offense with 6 RBIs across the two games as Siuslaw improves to 3-2 on the season. The Vikings return to action Wednesday, April 1 at Pleasant Hill with a 4:30 p.m. first pitch.
College Baseball
The OSU Beavers will begin a home stand tomorrow with Mercer. all three games will be carried on KCFM. Tomorrows outing will have a 5pm start time with a 5:35 first pitch.
the Oregon Ducks will travel to California to face UC Santa Barbara for three games beginning tomorrow.
