Vikings Vs Douglas
Siuslaw varsity baseball came up short on the road Thursday, falling 6–4 to Douglas at Douglas High School. The Vikings took the lead in the top of the 4th inning, when Jacob Mann doubled home a run and Colin Barnett followed with a 2-run single. Douglas answered in the bottom half, then pulled ahead for good with 3 runs in the 5th. Barnett drove in 2 runs for Siuslaw, while Coleman Weidman finished with 3 hits. The Vikings host Douglas today for a doubleheader at Jiggs Dotson Field. beginning at 2:45 on KCST.
Viking softball managed 6 runs, but could not hold back the onslaught of Douglas who scored 16 in the lopsided victory over Siuslaw.
Track and Field Today
This afternoon the Vikings will host the Central Coast Invitational Track and field event.
College Baseball
The Oregon Ducks will be on the mound this evening to face Penn State and the Oregon State Beavers will host Hawaii for a 3 game series which will air on KCFM. game one this evening will begin at 5pm.
