Middle School Seeks Athletic Director
Siuslaw Middle School is looking for a new teacher, coach and athletic director following the resignation of Jeromy Graybill. Graybill, who has served in those roles since the 2016-17 school year, has accepted a position at Junction City High School. The district has posted the athletic director opening as an internal position for current staff, with a $10,000 stipend. Graybill says leaving Siuslaw was a difficult decision, calling the school and community his family for more than 12 years.
World Cup Finale Watch Party
If you’re up for a Sunday drive to Corvallis, Oregon State men’s soccer is hosting a free World Cup Final watch party this Sunday at Reser Stadium. Doors open at 11 a.m. in the Toyota Club, with kickoff set for noon. Fans can meet Oregon State student-athletes and coaches, get a first look at the 2026 Beavers roster, and enter raffles for prizes. Admission is free, making it a unique way for soccer fans to take in the World Cup championship match alongside the Beaver community.
