The Eugene Emeralds opened their only regular season trip to Spokane with a 13-1 win over the Indians Tuesday night. Hunter Dryden earned the victory, allowing just one run over six innings, while Zander Darby homered and drove in two. The win moves Eugene into a three-way tie for first place in the Northwest League second-half standings.

Duck Players on Trophy Watch List

Three Oregon football players have been named to the preseason watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, recognizing the nation’s top defensive player, while three Ducks also earned spots on the Outland Trophy watch list for the nation’s best interior lineman. Defensive lineman A’Mauri Washington was selected for both honors, joined by Brandon Finney Jr., Koi Perich, Bear Alexander, and center Iapani Laloulu. Oregon is tied for the nation’s most Outland Trophy watch list selections.
