Viking Basketball Versus Douglas
The Siuslaw Vikings were on the court on Friday. The girls and boys teams took on Douglas in non-league action. Despite hard work from the Siuslaw girls Douglas doubled up on the Vikings taking a 21-12 lead in the first half and taking the win with a 51-25 score.
The Viking boys on the other hand worked together to topple Douglas 60-28 with a strong showing from Brody Terry and Liam McClennan who threw up 14 and 12 points respectively in the win. Rhys Fleming and Avery Hart both added 9. Siuslaw is 3-6 on the season.
Ducks Hoops
The Oregon Ducks easily handled Alabama State yesterday in Eugene. They topped the Hornets by 31 points in the 98-59 victory.
On Saturday the Duck women were in a mismatched exhibition and defeated Corban 124-52
Beaver Hoops
The Oregon State Beavers men’s basketball team improve to 10-2 after defeating North Dakota 83-66 yesterday in Corvallis and the ladies improve to 12-0 defeating CSU Bakersfield 69-50.
