It looks as though the Ducks are close to picking the starting QB position. On Monday Tyler Shough found his rhythm on the field completing passes to several receivers and moving the chains during several different practice scenarios. According to the coaching report, Shough seems to be showing good decision making even though he has not had much game-time experience. Monday was a full 11 on 11 practice for the Ducks. Head Coach Mario Cristobal said he wanted to see better tackling from the defense. The Ducks were not in full uniform, so tackling to the ground was not permitted, but the defense did get more physical throughout the workout.
The Oregon State Beavers have not been posting regular updates on their practices and neither team has determined their kick-off schedule for their first games of the 2020 season
