Oregon Duck Games Rearranged
The fluid men’s basketball schedule is constantly changing. The Oregon Ducks game scheduled for this evening has been moved to 2pm this afternoon. Coast Radio will carry the game beginning at 1:30 on KCST. Their game scheduled for Sunday has also been moved to a Saturday 6:30 pm tip off and that coverage will also be on KCST and begin at 6pm.
There have been no additional schedule changes for the Oregon State Beavers as they are still under COVID-19 protocols. They are not scheduled to play again until the 14th when they host the Arizona Wildcats in Corvallis.
Hope for High School Sports
Siuslaw School superintendent Andy Grzeskowiak says a late spring start for winter sports hopefully allows for the state to get enough vaccines out for safe play to begin. He says that the current challenge now is how to safely move forward with indoor events like basketball and volleyball. Grzeskowiak says that the schools will receive more guidance on January 19th.
