Vikings Undefeated
The Siuslaw Viking remained undefeated after meeting with the Gladstone Gladiators on Friday. The Vikings held a 7 nothing lead into the 4th quarter when the Gladiators tied it up. With just over 5 minutes remaining in the game Viking QB Beau Erickson pushed through the Gladiator’s defense from 2 yards out for the quarterback keeper to give the Vikings 13- 7 advantage. The Vikings decided to go for 2 for an 8 point lead. Beau Erickson under center.

Vikings hold off a final push from the gladiators for the 15-7 win and a 3-0 record.
Ulrich Victorious
The Vikings also had success in Cross Country on Saturday at the Nike Cross Country meet. Siuslaw junior Sam Ulrich set a personal record in the 5,000 meter race with a first place finish. Ulrich finished with a time of 16:08.8. Viking senior Chad Hughes finished 6th with a time of 16:40.4. Junior Kyle Hughes finished 11th as the Siuslaw men win the event.
The Siuslaw ladies did not win their event, but senior Rylee Colton did place third overall in the 5,000 meter race with a time of 19:15.80 a personal record for her.
Ducks Win
The Oregon Ducks remain undefeated as they dispense with the Arizona Wildcats 41-19. It was a close contest through 3 quarters where the Ducks held a one score advantage as Arizona turned over the ball with two interceptions in the end-zone. But the Ducks defense continued to press the Wildcats and scored two more touchdowns in the 4th quarter to win.
Beavers Win
The Oregon State Beavers on Saturday were dominant over the USC Trojans with a 45 -27 win.
