Lady Sailors Victorious
The Lady Sailors of Mapleton have advanced to the next round of the playoffs. The Sailors defeated Alsea last night 33-21. Opal Burress and Jahala Blake each had 8 points in the victory. The Sailors advance to take on Triangle Lake tomorrow evening.
Viking Basketball
The Siuslaw Vikings were also on the court last night against Junction City. The girls were up first and were defeated 44-8. The Viking boys had the late game and were taken down 58-26.
Beavers Can’t Find a “W”
The Oregon State Beavers can’t seem to find the win column as they hosted Colorado last night and were handily defeated 90-64.
Vikings Host Marist
The Siuslaw Vikings are back on the court this evening at 5:30 on KCST they will host Marist. There is no girl’s game scheduled.
