Mapleton Loss; Siuslaw Basketball; Wrestling; Ducks Win; Beavers Lose

Mapleton Loss

After a series of wins the Mapleton Boys basketball team struggled against Triangle Lake.  Last night’s game was missing a cohesive offense according to head coach Eric Wolgamatt.  The Sailor’s high scorer was Keevyn Walker with 7 points.  The Sailors fall to 6-4 in league play, but have a chance to bounce back Monday when they face the Eddyville Eagles at home.

The Mapleton Girls were unable to field a team and had to forfeit their game against the Lakers.

Siuslaw Basketball

This evening is Siuslaw Basketball.  The boys and girls will host Sisters at Glen Butler Court beginning at 6pm with a 5:45 pregame on KCST.  Sisters boy’s team is 5-2 in league play and is tied for second in the league while the girl’s team is just 1 and 6 on the season.

Viking Wrestling will compete in Special District Duals in Harrisburg today and tomorrow

Ducks Win

Nate Bittle had a double-double last night with 11 points and 13 rebounds to help push the Ducks past Colorado.  Quincy Guerrier led all Ducks with 16 and Keeshawn Barthelemy came off the bench for 13 in the 75-69 win.  The Ducks will face the Utes next tomorrow beginning at 4:30 on KCST.

Beavers Lose

The Beavers fell to the Utes last night managing only 44 points with only one Beaver in double figures.  Jordan Pope scored 11.  Utes win 63-44.  The Beavers will face Colorado tomorrow at 7:30 with a 7 o’clock pregame on KCFM.
