Vikings/Pirates
The Siuslaw Vikings start their march towards a state title with the 3A playoffs on Friday. The Vikings will face the Dayton Pirates at Hans Petersen field. the Vikings are ranked #1 in the state by the OSAA. The Pirates are ranked 15th and have a 6-3 record. The Vikings had a chance to see a preseason version of the pirates at a jamboree, but the Viks will likely see an energized version tomorrow night. Preseason basketball continues for the Ducks when they face Montana tomorrow evening from Matthew Knight Arena. KCST’s coverage will begin on November 12th with the Portland game.
The OSU Beavers will host Weber State on tomorrow. Beaver coverage on KCFM will begin on Friday November 15th with a game against Cal State Fullerton.
